I’ve been drawing all my life, with no formal art training outside of the art classes I took in high school. The first portraits I completed were in art class, and I fell in love with being able to bring a person to life on paper. I love watching as the person comes to life, adding each little detail that makes the person who they are.
I work from photographs in pencil only; I love the classic look of black and white portraits. I can work from any photograph, new or old, and it does not need to be in black and white.
